measured vs. calculated parameters

You all probably know this, but as a newcomer to the NEC
world I'm wondering where there is a documented comparison
of actual measured parameters such as antenna input
impedance and radiation pattern to that calculated by
different versions of NEC-2, MININEC, "Professional MININEC"
and "WIRE.EXE" [ca. 1989, by Dr. William Davis, Department
of Electrical Engineering, Virginia Polytechnic Institute
and State Univ., Blacksburg, VA 24061]. It's good to be
reassured that a Pentium can be faster than a '486 and
SPARCs rule, but is the data useful?
