Paul,

I fit a curve to this data once because I couldn't find the original =
analytic equations. I'll have to check out Marcuvitz!

Anyway, FYI:

d/w =3D 0.5008 + 1.0235 x - 1.0230 x^2 + 1.1564 x^3 - 0.4749 x^4

x =3D t/w
d/w =3D equivalent round diameter / line width
t =3D line thickness
w =3D line width
fit error is < 0.35%

Which is p. 130, (3.6.3.4) of my book. The original reference to my
knowledge is C. Flammer, in March 15, 1950 Stanford Research Institute
Technical Report, "Equivalent Radii of Thin Cylindrical Antennas with
Arbitrary Cross Sections."

If anybody runs across this article I'd love to see a copy.
