Two references I have used,
"Antenna Engineering Handbook" Editor Jasik, 1980, chapter on Frequency
Independent Antennas.
There is a second edition, which has the same chapter as far as I can see.
The other reference is:
"Helical and Spiral antennas - a numerical approach", Hisamatsu Nakano,
John Wiley, 1987.
The chapters in Jasik are highly recommended.
