NEC-LIST:Bad NEC-4 code from CVF compiler

Hi,

As a warning, we have found that NEC4D compiled with the Compaq
Visual Fortran compiler V. 6.6 gives bad results for Sommerfeld
ground problems when the code is compiled with the setting "Generate
most optimum code" under Settings/Fortran/Code generation. Settings
under Optimizations do not seem to cause a problem, and Maximum
Optimization does give faster code than Full Optimization.

John Wood at NRL has reported bad Sommerfeld results with the g77
compiler under Linux. Don't know if there is something in the
Sommerfeld code that is a compiler test. NEC4D does compile
correctly with CVF V. 6.6 without "Generate most optimum code".
Earlier versions of CVF/DVF gave correct code with this option, and
the Macintosh Absoft Fortran, and various unix compilers seem to
handle it OK.
