NEC-LIST:comments and sub-sections

Is there a way to "comment out" sections of a NEC2 geometery input file?
I've tried moving the GE card up, but I get an error on the first GW card
after it and that aborts the run. It also seems that CM/CE cards aren't
allowed after the first geometry card.

Any help would be appreciated!
