Does anyone have a NEC-2 file for a fishbone antenna?

Thanks

Hi Zvi,
You did say "dipole".
Have a look on my web site under the section on
antennas for the TV DXer "Wide band Band 1 dipole".
There you will see how to couple a simple, shortened
parasitic element, known as an "exciter element" in
the industry since the late '70s, to the dipole
element to obtain a bandwidth of about 25%.
The exiter is inductive at one end of, and capacitive
at the other end of, the bandwidth. These effects
partially compensate for the SWR build.

SWR/bandwidth is trimmed by the spacing and length of
the exciter element, so everything is interactive and
can best be modelled prior to construction.

Good luck,
Ian.
