Is there a way with NEC to specify and arbitrary E field on all
segments of a receive antenna to then determine the voltage
developed at its feed point? I know you can specify plane wave
problems, but what do you do if the field over the antenna (
without the antenna present, of course) is not a plane wave.
Another way of asking this is how do you handle arbitrary incident
fields on a system of wires with NEC?
