Modifications to 'subroutine seconds' on a SUN

I'm recompiling NEC2 to incorporate the matrix transposition modifications
described by Jerry Burke. Everything compiles nicely except that
I'm having trouble getting the timing function to perform correctly
on a SUN.

I've changed the call in subroutine seconds to time() , however this
returns an integer. There seems to be some type incompatibilities
that I'm missing as the reported times are shown as negative in some cases
and NaN (not a number) in others. It's been quite some time since
I've hacked a Fortran program. Has anyone modified the time keeping
routines and gotten correct results on a SUN?
