And it shouldn't, if the antenna has only one feedpoint. The SWR on
feedline, together with the feedline and the Thevenin-equivalent
source at the opposite end of the feedline, affect the current at the
feedpoint and the impedance seen by the source and by the antenna,
but the radiation pattern of the antenna is independent of the
current at the feedpoint, and of the external factors determining it.
