INSITUTION OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS EVENTS

MEETINGS ORGANISED BY PROFESSIONAL GROUP S8 (ELECTROMAGNETICS)

Monday, 18 March 1996
Colloquium on "EMC - fundamentals"
to be held at the IEE, Savoy Place, London, England.

The meeting will assist the professional development of EMC engineers in
electromagnetics. Tutorial presentations on fields and waves,
electromagnetic radiation, Maxwell's equations, modelling methods and
applications in EMC will be given.

Tuesday, 2 April 1996
Colloquium on "The teaching of electromagnetics"
to be held at Loughborough University of Technology, England.

In electrical and electronic based degree courses electromagnetics is a core
discipline, yet many students find it difficult. This meeting is for
teachers and users to pool experience and promote new ideas in this area.
Recruiters and employers are particularly invited to attend, to meet and
influence the teachers.
