Hi Rob,

The NX is used to simulate independent models in the same NEC run.

You need to put both of your dipoles in the same model (no NX).
i.e.

CM
CE
GW 1 9 0 0 0 0 0 .5 .001 (first dipole)
GW 2 9 2 0 0 2 0 .5 .001 (second dipole)
GS ... (specify geometry scaling - NEC wants meters)
GE ... (specify ground plane)
FR ... (specify frequency)
EX ... (specify source)
RP ... (request radiation pattern)
EN (end of run)

The RP can be replaced by any command which causes NEC to execute (NE
- near electric field, NH - near magnetic field, XQ - calculate
currents). RP, NE, and NH will automatically calculate the currents.

Good luck,

Mary Beth
