NEC-LIST: Ice on Radomes

Has anyone any experience with ice on microwave antenna radomes? Can
ice be avoided without heating? What is the effect of the ice? Does it
causes attenuation? Or is it the change in VSWR? Are there materials
which don't stick to ice? Any ideas will be welcome.
