NEC-LIST: SuperNEC - some new developments

We distribute the SuperNEC program which is a hybrid MoM (NEC theory)
GTD program with a Matlab structure editor and output interface.
SuperNEC used to require Matlab 5.2 or later to run and this was
obviously very inconvenient to users who do not already use Matlab. Many
users have also requested a demonstration version which was difficult if
they do not own Matlab.

We have negotiated a runtime licence agreement with the MathWorks which
now allows us to bundle Matlab with SuperNEC. Users without Matlab
hence have full SuperNEC functionality, but do not have a Matlab
workspace and can not use any Matlab feature which is not offered by the
SuperNEC interface. Users with Matlab will receive a discount of 10% on
the new SuperNEC price and will have the flexibility to interact between
SuperNEC and the Matlab workspace.

More information on SuperNEC is available at
http://www.poynting.co.za/emsoft/supnec/intro.htm

We also offer a 1 month demonstration download (about 24 MByte
unfortunately) of SuperNEC Lite at
http://www.poynting.co.za/emsoft/supnec/sndisk/supernec.zip. You do not
need Matlab to run this demo version.

If you are not prepared to download such a large file please email
supernec_at_poynting.co.za and we can arrange to mail a CD with the
demonstration program at a cost of $25.00.

Regards
Andre Fourie
